Ideally, you should bring a referral from a GP or another doctor, but I will accept self referrals, particularly if you are able to bring details and results from previous treatments and consultations. Referrals are also accepted from abroad, particularly if you have been sent by the Health Office of your embassy.

I am approved by all the major private health insurers and recommend that you contact them in advance of your appointment to arrange pre-authorisation.

NHS Appointments

I see NHS patients virtually and at Harefield Hospital and the Royal Brompton Hospital. I run four types of clinics:
  1. A general respiratory clinic, where all lung conditions are seen;
  2. A specialist sleep clinic, where I see patients with snoring and sleep disorders;
  3. A second opinion clinic, where I see undiagnosed respiratory problems; and
  4. A Covid-19 recovery clinic.

I am also the lead clinician for the Harefield Pulmonary Rehabilitation Team, which provides a specialist exercise and education programme for patients with chronic lung disease, and those recovering from major surgery to the lungs (for example, lung transplantation and surgery to remove lung cancer).

A referral is required to access my NHS clinics. Referrals are typically from GPs, from other lung specialists requesting a second opinion and from Ear Nose Throat surgeons.
